(Perrysburg, OH) ~The Danberry Co., Realtors, met on Thursday, February 2, at the Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons to celebrate its50th anniversary and to review the year 2011 and to share plans for 2012.
Danberry President, Richard Baker, opened the meeting with a presentation on the history of the firm that was established in 1962 by Richard Glowacki. City Councilman and Danberry Realtor Rob Ludeman, on behalf of the City of Toledo, presented a Resolution recognizing Danberry’s 50 years of service. In addition, State Representative Randy Gardner presented the company a Proclamation recognizing Danberry for its 50 years in serving the real estate needs of the region’s consumers. “Our founder often stated that by trying to be the best real estate company, Danberry became the biggest,” stated Baker. “We have continued with that commitment to be the best and the results speak for themselves,” Baker added.
Lynn Fruth, Danberry CEO, highlighted the past year’s business achievements and projected what’s in store for Danberry in the coming year. “We are very excited about 2012. We see an improved market and we plan to continue to pick up market share as we have these last few years,” Fruth commented.
The meeting emphasized Danberry’s commitment to be the region’s best full service provider of professional real estate services. In keeping with that desire Danberry added two new service categories, commercial property management and the leasing of residential homes. “It is clear that a larger percentage of consumers will be tenants in the future and we want to be able to assist them in finding the best rental property ,” added Fruth. Danberry now has over 20 certified RENT agents to meet this growing market segment.
In 2011, the firm closed 2,692 units totaling $330,236,000 in volume. Agents honored included Rick Prokup who was recognized for the Largest Number of Transactions Award and tied with Kevin Warren for the Top Sales Producer Award. Kevin Warren was also recognized for Most Listings Taken. The Most Outgoing Referrals Award went to Lori Stephens, while Debbie Katich and Cecilia Richardson shared the top spot for Most Closed Outgoing Referrals.
Danberry prestigious President’s Club Members were also announced at the meeting. Earning Danberry’s top achievement by finishing first in closed volume for 2011 was Rick Prokup. The next 24 in order of finish include Mark Kruse, Michelle Nieman, Victoria Luhring, Kevin Warren, Donna Friesner, Tony Bassett, Heather Smith-LaPoint, Alan Robertson, Cecilia Richardson, Kathy Willis, Jack Amlin, Lori Stephens, Doug Kwiatkowski, Pam King, Deborah Schoen-Gedert, Sarna Dorf, Judy Stone, Melissa Utterback, Kendall Gigax, Jo Lyman, Becky Naugle, Holli Oess, Tom Smith and John Fesh.
